Come spend a night with the NW’s own, Shari Storm, as she talks about her first book, Motherhood is the New MBA! Shari will have copies of her book for a discounted rate of $15 available at the training, as well as a great raffle prize!

A little about Shari: Shari has been an executive in the credit union industry since 1998. Before joining the Verity Credit Union team, she was a director at the non-profit organization, Consumer Credit Counseling Service.

Shari has an undergraduate degree in speech communications from the University of Washington and earned her MBA from Seattle University.She recently published her first book titled, Motherhood is the New MBA: Using Your Parenting Skills to be a Better Boss. (St. Martins Press, hardcover). She has been featured in Time Magazine, Redbook, HybridMom, Body & Soul, Costco Connection, Martha Stewart’s radio program, KING 5 morning news, The Metro News New York, BusinessWeek online, MomLogic website and Working Mother magazine blog.

Shari mentors at Seattle University’s graduate program. Her accomplishments also include participating on Filene’s prestigious i3 team, leading a group of business people to teach free enterprise in the communist country of Belarus and raising three daughters.
